Amy & Grant's Surprise Proposal
Jericho Beach, Vancouver
I had an absolutely wonderful time photographing this beautiful couple's proposal! They came all the way up from Seattle under the guise of a weekend golfing with friends and it was a complete surprise for Amy, she had even bought a new golfing outfit that she never got to use. Grant had chosen the location to capture that classic Vancouver look with the mountains in the background and I think it turned out so well. Due to him being in Seattle, we had to figure out the plan all over the phone (while Amy was out of the house) and exchanged lots of photos and videos from my scouting session to make sure we were 100% on the same page. The morning of was so beautiful with not a single cloud in the sky. We also got very lucky with where the shipping containers were anchored! And because it was early the only other people on the beach were a couple of guys fishing who very kindly moved when I asked them to. The proposal went smoothly, we got some tears out of Amy, and their friends came over with bubblies after to celebrate. Thank you again to Amy and Grant for allowing me to capture this special day!
